A. Vincent Loro
Founder & President

Vince Loro founded IDSI in the early-1990s when he determined that there was no technology support firm that could simultaneously address the hardware and software needs of an organization.  To this day, his innovative approach to serving the total technological needs of businesses is a refreshing departure from most companies in his field who tend to concentrate on one or the other.

Mr. Loro has more than 25 years of experience in business development, consulting, teaching, programming, project management, business management, and marketing.  His experience has focused on information technology, accounting distribution and manufacturing systems, computer networking, and systems analysis.  He earned Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education.

Innovation has long been a driving force behind Mr. Loro’s success.  Starting with Cado Small Business Computers in the early-1980s, he has been a vital contributor to numerous pioneering projects, including the early development of products with the use of A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) and O.C.R. (Object Character Recognition) technologies, as well as professional think tanks that devised the systems, logic, and methodologies behind one of the earliest automated finance and leasing approval software programs.

Teaching has also been a vital part of Mr. Loro’s professional career and business philosophy.  His years in the classroom, as a student and later an educator, have inspired a life-long commitment to—and passion for—learning.  In both building a team to deliver his entrepreneurial vision with IDSI, and supporting IDSI’s clients in their reliance upon technology-driven tools and solutions, he emphasizes ongoing education to ensure that IDSI fulfills its promise of being the most knowledgeable technology resource for Mid-Atlantic businesses.

Mr. Loro is active in his local Springfield, PA community, serving as a significant member of the Greater Springfield Business Association.  Once an avid wrestler, he also contributes time and resources to youth programs within the Delaware Valley.
